Hello All!
Just wanted to share a little change that’s happened to Times New Aulan. I hired a professional font designer to change it up so it looks a little less like a child scribbled a conlang alphabet on a blank piece of paper with crayon. Down below is the revised sample poem “The Child of Twilight” in Modern Aulan.
I am currently working on a couple of things:
1.) A fable in Middle Aulan that I intend to produce a written sample of sometime in the next two weeks or so, and
2.) Chapter 12 of Heaven’s Sojurn.
12 has been ready for a while now, just needs some final revision to be publishable.
As for the fable in Middle Aulan, I also hired the font designer to produce an “old” font-text of Modern Aulan so that I could do the same as above for Middle Aulan. However, since there are typographic/lexical/grammatical differences between Modern and Middle Aulan, the process will be a little slower. Therefore, enjoy this sample of the “old” font for Modern Aulan, based on Middle Aulan manuscripts.
Note: This is still written in Modern Aulan.
Frankly, I kind of prefer the older-looking font. What do you all think? Leave a comment with your thoughts!
I love the original typography. That's such a great idea!
